MetLife in talks to <b>buy</b> AIG&#39;s Alico unit: Source

AIG's shares were up 83 cents, or 3 percent, at $28.89, and MetLife was up 77 cents, or 2 percent, at $38.62, both on the New York Stock Exchange.
